We’re throwing in an extra poem for you. But unlike the others previously listed above, this one was written originally in English.
The poem, which does not shine Gold, was written by J.R.R. Tolkien, who owns the rings for their popular novels. It is also known as the song of Aragchar, and talks about a large plot of the story.
Not everything that is gold sparkles
Not everything that is gold sparkles,
Not everyone who walks lost,
The old is not obscured,
Still roots of the deep froze.
Fire is set from ashes,
Light emerges from shadows;
And King who lost the crown.
All that is gold does not glitter
All that is gold does not glitter
Not all those who wander are lost
The old that is strong does not wither
Deep roots are not reached by the frost.
From the ashes a fire shall be woken
A light from the shadows shall spring
Renewed be the blade that was broken
The crownless again shall be king.
